Meet gorgeous, content, squirmy, AWAKE baby, Vienna. I don’t think I heard a single peep from her. Quite a good baby. Full belly, lots of warm air, soothing music, and pacifier. She was as happy as could be until we tried to position her leg, arm, or remove a blanket. She is determined to have things her way – and my goodness, I was pretty much entranced by her spell and ready to let her! But in the end, our persistence won and we were able to create these gorgeous images.
Even during the rainest day of the year, people were pouring into Sassi‘s open house on Sunday. I was soooo impressed with everyone that came out to visit during the terrible weather. I for one would have had a hard time getting out of my pj’s and slippers to walk around in the cold wet mess, but these brides are troopers! Seriously dedicated and just so happy and kind to talk to! Love that the rain couldn’t damper their spirits. These are the kind of people I hope to work with this next year!
Here’s a small snapshot of what bride’s saw when they came to Sassi. All efforts to get some great images of all the vendor’s amazing talents were thwarted as people rushed in early and we moved into every available spot of cover, but it still turned out amazing!
It’s always a fun time when the whole family is together for the holidays! Dec 26 – day after Christmas. We started shooting about 8:45pm that evening. For sure we were setting ourselves up for a meltdown from over-tired, over-hyper, over-sugared kids, but I was so impressed at how smoothly and fun the night went!

I had a great time meeting Evie and her family this last month in their gorgeous North Scottsdale home. We did a very intimate, boudoir-type maternity session that I will keep private for the couple, but wanted to share this great image of their little family of three. Looking forward to meeting the newest addition in February!
I’m super excited to introduce for her first modeling debut, Whitney. At almost 3 weeks old, Whitney sure was a rock star. She has got to be one of the most chill babies – but did not want to drift off to sleep. She was keeping an eye on us and wanted to be sure she wasn’t going to miss a thing!
Welcome Whitney! Can’t wait to watch you grow! (But take your time… it happens to fast!)
Absolutely stunning mom-to-be, Ashley,rocked her maternity session with us last month. Tomorrow is her due date and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of her little angel! Good luck Ashley… we are praying for a healthy, quick, and easy delivery for you!
Little Sofia joined us just before Christmas and sure made us work hard for these images. She is just as itty bitty as can be and wants to catch up to her big brother by nursing non-stop! 🙂 We did catch a few minutes of sleepiness which we grabbed these few poses and in the end, we conquered the feat at hand!
